MYSK /mɪsk/
A name from a skin positivity journey, inspired by @myskinisgettingbetter and the vision of founder Eva.

The name MYSK is no coincidence. It grew out of the personal journey of our founder, who created the skin-positivity profile @myskinisgettingbetter during the most difficult stage of her battle with acne. From this profile – a place of support, self-acceptance, and true love for the skin – the acronym MYSK was born. It symbolizes the path from insecurity to self-confidence.

This very struggle sparked a passion for skincare. Years of trying, studying formulations, and learning about skin needs – not only her own but also those of others – naturally evolved into the MYSK webshop.
MYSK is not just another online store – it’s a carefully curated space for those who seek more than just products. Every brand in our shop is chosen with intention: to deliver real value, effective formulations, and a skincare experience that soothes, nurtures, and truly delivers results.

About the founder

I’m Eva, and at 26 I founded MYSK – the webshop I had long wished for, searched for, and needed myself.
I studied International Management and completed my Master’s degree, but my true skincare story didn’t begin in an office – it began in front of the mirror, in moments when I faced acne that took away far more than just “clear skin.”

That time shaped me. I started the skin-positivity profile @myskinisgettingbetter – as a place where I could be honest, with myself and with others. No filters, no perfection. Just real skin, real struggles, and a lot of learning.

Over time, I developed a passion for formulations, ingredients, and everything behind the products we put on our skin. I experimented, researched, studied, and built my own criteria. Out of this experience, MYSK was born – a webshop that isn’t overloaded, but carefully selected. With brands and products I choose just as I would for myself – with love, knowledge, and intention.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this process, it’s that skincare doesn’t have to be complicated – what matters is that it works for you.
